What a treasure! Not just the art, but the people too, from the security guards to the people at the front desk to the person who sold a coffee to me to the docents, every one of them was friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time exploring, and so did all the people around me, who were talking with one another about the art, taking selfies, and having fun.
The NCMA is really terrific. The permanent collection, special exhibits, and the extensive and family friendly park are all awesome assets for the people of NC. I wish I lived closer so I could participate in some of the intriguing sounding programs more conveniently. Every time I visit I am reminded how great it is to have such an opportunity to experience art right here in NC!
Love, love, love NCMA-inside and out!! Has something for everyone in the family.
This museum has great exhibits, both permanent and visiting. I also love the summer movies on the lawn series. The restaurant is pricey, but nice. And the outdoor trails are wonderful. You can take the whole family and there's something for everyone.
I always make a point to go to Art in Bloom and it never disappoints. Great facility and event!
