One of the leading art museums of the American South, the North Carolina Museum of Art opened in 1956 as the first in the nation established with public state funds. Great concert by Sheryl Crowm dispite the rain delay. Sheryl is a remarkable woman who puts on a great show. NCMA has some very entertaining summer concerts. You all should check them out.
Great displays! Enjoyed an afternoon at NCMA while waiting for my daughter to meet me. Very friendly staff/volunteers. Had previously seen Glory of Venice exhibit at another venue but had a chance to focus more on history of printing this time.
Great venue for a concert. I haven't been into the museum yet, but based on my visit it should be very nice.
