Yesterday I was referred to Doctor Jafari (from Doctor Rosenberg) and they had me come right in. The office is bright, clean and beautiful. I was impressed during my entire visit with Dr. Jafari and his staff....from the front desk, his assistant and especially the Doctor himself. He suspected a fractured tooth and explained my situation (so I could understand it). I'll say it again, what a great group in this office, I highly recommend them, thank-you Doctor Jafari, you run a very professional practice!

I am not the best dental patient - I own that. I went for a routine cleaning and it was discovered I had a huge cavity under a 20 year old crown. I needed a root canal ASAP. My dentist (Dr. Babak Noohi A+) referred me to Dr. Jafari. They coordinated my procedures and care and within hours I was in Dr. Jafari's chair. It's a little ways from Capitol Hill, but I took Uber there and metro (Whiteflint station) home.
Dr. Jafari and his staff are great. I was highly anxious, but the pill Dr. Noohi prescribed helped. Dr. Jafari explained exactly what he was going to do. He went over covid protocols, etc. Before I knew it I was gathering my coat and on my way home. Dr. Jafari reached out to me that evening to see how I was doing and again the next day to also tell me how the procedure went when I was a little more clear headed. I had heard horror stories of root canals - to be honest there was no discomfort at all. Dr. Jafari and his assistant have great chairside calming presence and communicated the entire time exactly what they were doing and how I was doing. Many thanks. I hope not to need his services again, but if I should need another root canal I know where to go.

I went to Dr. Jafari because I had pain and sensitivity in a tooth that had been crowned months earlier by another dentist. Dr. Jafari spent considerable time examining my tooth and asking me questions before he decided that a root canal was in order. He provided a very thorough explanation and answered all of my questions. He and his assistant made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure and I was not in any pain. Within a couple days, my tooth was healed. I have had no pain or sensitivity since then (It’s been a few weeks). I am very pleased!

Dr. Sasan Jafari saw me for a tooth that required either a root canal or extraction.
Jafari advised a root canal over extraction, using phrases like "needed it done yesterday" and "once-and-done."
He declared the root canal operation a success, despite levels of pain in my tooth and sensitivity to hot and cold, indicating a failed operation.
Tooth was examined by another endodontist, who says the tooth is infected and that I should ask my endodontist
to re-do the root canal or apply funds for an extraction. After discussing with Jafari, he denies all responsibility for his work.
I paid over $6000 [out-of-pocket] for Dr. Jafari's services and recommendations. I'll need to spend an additional $5,000 to recover from Jafari. Total over $10,000.
The problem is that Dr. Jafari is more interested in running a business [and pocketing money] than a healing medical practice.
!!! My advice is to find someone who accepts dental insurance and who is willing to stand behind their work. !!!
