Beware of this company!! I made 3 reservations with this company and our travel plans changed and had to cancel. I spoke to Abdul who manages the drivers and he indicated there would be a $75 cancellation fee. I cancelled 11 days in advance of our reservation so there was plenty of time for others to utilize the 2 vehicles we had reserved. Last Thursday (July 3) I requested a taxi to pick me up at my house at 9:30 p.m but the taxi drive was late 30 minutes. He was really stupid to me when I asked some discount. He didn't give any discount and no apologies because the delay. I don't have his name, but is a old man around 60 years old. I'm really disappointed with this taxi company.
Our company works with a lot of taxi services all over the Austin... the best company is North Austin Taxi...and we work with all the taxi company's in Round rock, tx some did not pick up the phone,.. and when thy did thy did not show up...it was very disappointing.... till we started using North Taxicab thy have wonderful dispatch services and customer service...always know were the taxi is and on time.
I am using my husband's city search's username to write this review. So first off I have not had many experiences with Yellow Cab, but the one I had last night couldn't have been better. Had a great experience with Eve, one of their newer drivers for North Austin Taxi Service LLC She was knowledgeable about the area and played tourguide, was upfront about the costs (around $6 per person per each passenger we had 6 people, and was truly entertaining along the way. No company beats North Austin Taxi – I travel to Austin Airport every other weekend I tend to take a shuttle service every time I travel few months ago I decided to not use a shuttle service any more I do not like the fact that they have to pick up people on the way to the airport and wait on sometimes, And I do not wanna wake up at 2 am for flight at 6:30 either so I started using yellow cab first they showed up 20 minute late, they other day did not show up period I had to use my car and paid 200 dollars for having it park... read more
Worst Taxi Service in Austin! – Don't waste your time with this company. They are not up front about granting their online reservation discounts. They showed up the night before to pick me up. The next night they picked me up at the requested drop off time making me 45 minutes late to my engagement. Do not use! – We reserved a 15 passenger van to pick us up at our house last Saturday morning and take us to a marina on lake Travis. The van was then going to pick us up at 3pm and take us home. The van showed up on time but then died in front of our house. We let the driver barrow jumper cables but it still wouldn't start.
