Considering switching offices – Dr. Sharp is the only thing that would make us even consider staying with North Austin Pediatrics. Unfortunately, there are too many cons about this practice. One thing that drives us crazy is the check-out girl, the last person you see before leaving. She is SOOOOO rude, arrogant, and snotty! And if you have an issue on the weekend, you can't get in for a visit and have to pay to get your question answered over the phone. Overall, not entirely satisfied.
A Loving & Caring Mommy – Dr Blumberg was GREAT!!! However he left the practice & I have had nothing but problems since. VERY hard to get a well check appointment, 2 or more months out. Julie in the front replaced Maria, is so snotty, rude & a total turn off. They asked me to not take it out on the doctors, well then should I subject my kids to that? awesome practice – i love this place. as a mother of 4 i would not go anywhere else. the nurse practioner is the best, totally caring and remembers my children by name and little things about them. the nursing staff has always given meadvice and answered my questions quickly and accurately. they have saturday hours that work great for a weekend. the office staff recognizes me and my family when we walk in the door. very friendly and extremely welcoming. i would not go anywhere else.
Disorganized, unfriendly ..... don't take your little one here! – We were a patient of Dr. Ellis. I do NOT recommend her services to anyone. She is extremely hard to talk to, doesn't answer questions clearly, incorrectly diagnosed several serious illnesses and does NOT return phone messages. Her nurse practitioner is friendly but unfortunately suffers from a lack of experience. There are NO nurses to talk to on the phone at this practice. Only techs and aides give shots and take blood--they seem highly inexperienced as well.... read more
