They have very healthy orchids and their packaging is impeccable. They have a large selection of orchids. I highly recommend orchis.com.
Do not trust this vendor. It is well known in the orchid community that eventually he will do something dishonest to you.
I ordered about 6 plants recently. One that was supposed to have a spike, came with a black, dead looking spike. Most all of the plants had thrips and one other type of insect, some kind of a mite. None of the plants have grown at all. I ordered some that were supposed to be close to having a spike, but close might be a couple of years from now. Not very satisfied. Who sends a customer a plant with black spots on the leaves too?
Do not purchase from these people. Instead, go to your local nursery or Home Depot or Lowes and buy your own orchids in 2" containers for $6-$12 each to place in your arrangement. I purchased from Norman's through Orchids.com and spent $160 after shipping for a 22" tall arrangement. HORRIFIC!!!! The first two photos are a "premium" orchid that cost $125. All of the buds are torn off and only one flower. Most of the roots are rotten as well. The third and fourth photos are of another "premium" orchid with all of the buds torn off. I attempted to contact customer service multiple times; however, they refuse to respond. I purchase a lot of orchids from many sellers and this company is by far the worst. You are better off going to ebay or etsy to buy your plants.
On February 8 2018 I ordered an orchid for my wife for Valentine's Day gift. The total amount of the order which included 2 day expedited shipping was 218. Over the last 10 years I have ordered dozens of orchids from orchids.com utilizing 2 profiles. I have always been satisfied with the product and service.
