We've been through more than our fair share of property managers so maintenance and responsiveness has been spotty at best, but the new manager is a step in the right direction. Not the prettiest building but staff is nice enough, amenities work, and no major complaints (at least now that they finally fixed the elevator). This place is worth it mostly for the surrounding neighborhood - Safeway, Whole Foods, plenty of buses and nearly close to Takoma station, it's a good deal

Living at this apartment complex has been nothing short of a nightmare. The only elevator has been broken for an entire month now, making it incredibly difficult to get in and out, especially for anyone elderly or with mobility issues. My kitchen was infested with cockroaches, and even after pest control came out, nothing was resolved. The infestation continued without improvement. The service at this apartment is unreliable at best. I have yet to receive help when calling the emergency line. My gas was unavailable for a week upon move in, and I had many issues with the electricity when first moving in.
