I love how there is a direct flight to Japan. Also a currency exchange desk was conveniently located next to my gate.
TSA was great. I left early morning so lines were not long. Friendly, courteous, nice morning smiles, and direct. Went through Einstein Bagels very friendly and quick moving staff. The airport was very clean, bathrooms too. American Airlines take off and gate were fine. I'm grumpy at them right now so I'll just keep it at that.

It's an airport. If you want to fly into or out of San Jose, and don't have your own airstrip, you need to use it. Security is slow, even for PreCheck. Dining options are poor but expensive. There's power at some seats near gates, but not all. But it's an airport, so you have to use it if you want to fly.
It was nice. Very clean and the people were very friendly. We even saw Verdine White of Earth Wind and Fire :).
