RecommendedSJC is small and convinient airport. It does not have too many option, but a great way to fly in and out of Silicon Valley.
The Airport itself is okay. The Southwest people on the other hand are useless in giving any helpful information on another flight due to my particular flight to Las Vegas was canceled 30 minutes after it was supposed to leave, bad weather where plane was flying from, so they booked us on a flight at 920 pm, the original flight was supposed to leave at 250! Finally get on plane and leave at after 12:30 am, meanwhile my ride waits for me in Vegas from 4 o'clock, the original tomeuntil I finally arrive in Vegas 11 hours later.... read more
Love it. SIGN UP FOR "CLEAR" I got bumped to the front of the line. And I didn't have to go thru all the obstacles most airports put you thru in order to board a damn plane. Was quick and easy. Being a bay area/northern Cali native, myself this was my first time ever flying out of San Jose (usually take San Francisco's or Sacramento airport) but this was the most pleasant boarding experience of all.

But I got home at 3 AM - Southwest responsibility, not SJ. The airport is easy in, easy out. Great engineering since the 70's!
Average, early morning just stinks, nothing is open. Be prepared to wait in line for the ones that are open. They restock the coolers in the morning, have to hunt for a cold bottle of water, plus they add more congestion.. need to think time and resource management..

サンフランシスコ国際空港の混雑を嫌い、今年のGW旅行で初めてSJCを利用しました。出入国の手続きに時間がかからず、時間が節約できたと思います。目的地はNapaでしたが、I-680を経由するルートなら1時間半程度で着けましたので、SFOと変わらない感じでした。
