An unexpected treat Within a strip mall, filled with restaurants and businesses alike, lies Nori - Edwardsville's newest (and only) Japanese restaurant. Surprisingly, this unassuming store front houses some of the best tempura I've found in the midwest. Though the vibe is very upscale, the interior is modest and not at all pretentious. A great place to stop in for some sashimi or tempura, for sure.

Nori Sushi & Japanese Grill is TERRIBLE THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER ATE AT IN EVILLE. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. STICK WITH BULLY'S NEXT DOOR! I Looked at the food and almost started to cry because it cost way too much for the food I was looking at.
All things good 1) Map is incorrect, so call ahead of time. 2) Great sushi that is fresh, with larger than normal rolls - great value. 3) Comfortable atmosphere and great sushi bar to sit at! Ask for the special 'beef' sushi roll when there - they'll make one if they have time! Can't go wrong with this place if you are in the mood!
Nori Sushi & Japanese Grill is a great place to eat I have been to this restaurant several times and it is excellent. It is VERY clean and has great service and a pleasant atmosphere. But more importantly, the food is great. It can be pricey depending on what you get though, but it's worth the freshness and high quality. Ignore the review left by Wendy P, sushi is usually on the expensive side and the taste does not appeal to everyone.
