Private rooms have minimalist, modern decor with wood floors & colorful accents. They are furnished with sinks and flat-screen TVs, and some have sitting areas. Some bathrooms are communal, but abundant and clean. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. There's a funky, modern lobby and a communal kitchen and treats for dogs!

Extremely disappointed. Building etc was lovely, as were the rooms (even if the floors were EXTREMELY noisy when walked on) but when we noticed items missing from a locked room and enquired, a member of staff became extremely aggressive and ordered us to leave. There was no need for this, it was completely unprovoked and, tbh, if it wouldn't have caused further problems I would have knocked the arrogant prick out. To say I won't be staying again is an understatement.
We alway stay at the Norblad when we visit. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Plus, the vibe and decor are the best!
Great deal -- this place is so cool! The staff were friendly and gave me advice on places to see in Astoria.
This was a great place to stay! We are planning on coming back and will definitely stay here again. Staff was chill and the place was clean and quiet.
