Clean and price is nice! Location was great and quiet at night. Highly recommended if looking for a place to stay in Astoria!
Great place, very clean and comfy and centrally located. We will definitely be back here to stay.
Very dark and unsafe around this hostel. Could not find the entrance after being threatened on the street by shady characters. This is a very unsafe city for travelers. Very xenophobic and violence is threatened against people who are not from here especially if they are brown. Trumplandia supreme. We left and went to a Holiday Inn Express after being harassed on the street. Trust me, you want to skip this city on your travels. Not worth the threats of violence to see the sea lions.

Amazing hotel! The beds are super comfy & rooms are really clean. There's quite a few showers and toilets, I never had to wait to use either. Very quiet aside from the creaky old floors...but that's what you get with old buildings! Conveniently located downtown, there's an organic grocery co-op across the street with a great selection. You can buy a few things there and cook it in the shared kitchen in the hotel. Really nice not having to eat out every meal. I will definitely be staying here from now on when I visit Astoria!... read more

I thought that shared bathrooms would be inconvenient, dirty, and weird... but they were super clean, and always available. This was not a problem at all. The location is also very convenient. There is a grocery store across the street, it is a short walk to the water, very close to flavel home and film museum, and about 5 minutes away from the Astoria column. When I am in Astoria, I will ALWAYS stay h... read more
