Tremendous shop for all you foodies out there.The one item that is always free, fully stocked and shown to everyone is the love and respect from the owner and her staff. Non-Essentials... it's not costumer service when your treated like family.
One of the most fascinating and eclectic stores I have ever had the good fortune to visit! Food for body, mind, and soul, with unique food and culinary items, local pottery and art work, cute socks and so much more.
I LOVE this store! They always have just what I need for gift-giving, whether it be something uniquely Alaskan, beautiful artwork, or delicious chocolates. I'm also super appreciative of the care Denise takes to source the finest cheeses & meats from the lower 48 - SO GOOD!
Such a beautiful store! The first place I shop for gifts and goodies for our home. Denise and her staff are so helpful in finding what you need, both in and out of her store. She is constantly uplifting the small business community in Palmer...Non-Essentials is the place to go to start your local shopping.
This is the best place ever! Find what you really do need plus find so many kinds of great gifts and fun gadgetry all while you are being waited on by one of the kindest and most interesting people in Palmer. Just being in the store is a day brightener!
