Ive been tasked with repairing a boat nomad marine "fixed". What a mess. Beware!
I took my Four Winns boat there to have the out drive checked because I had hooked up the ears to it to make sure it was ready for summer and I heard a pinging noise in the out drive. Which the the summer before I had spent $3000 dollars on to have rebuilt and I didn't trust the mechanic, they told me it was the gimbal bearing. I had asked them numerous time if they hooked up the ears and listen to it. They said yes and they lake tested and ran it for about an hour. Just had some awesome service at Nomad today. Everyone at the place was helpful. Quick analysis of problem, fair pricing...and luckily for me...it was a quick fix. I will definitely be using their services in the future.
