The risotto balls were really good, and the short rib was full of flavor. The service was exceptional even when the restaurant was relatively full for the dinner hour.
Had a wonderful dining experience yesterday for restaurant week. Highly recommend the risotto rice balls and the mussels for appetizers, both were our favorite dish and we walked out saying we would return for the mussels! Ordered the rigatoni a la vodka with chicken and bacon as an entree, sauce was very delicious. Dessert was underwhelming. Pretty authentic Italian food with old-school South Philly Italian vibes inside.
Party of four there on a Monday night. I guess the chef is different on Monday nights than the rest of the week because I don’t understand how this place has even one good review. This is not Italian food. This is gross, low quality and rancid. Either the anchovies that they use in their Caesar dressing were expired or They scraped the slime from the dumpster behind chickie and Pete’s to make the dressing.
