About two years ago, I went to Dr. Armstrong to correct a bunion and hammer toes. My fourth toe is now under my second toe. I went back to him several times and there’s nothing he can do. I also know I have another person who has been through the same issues I have. I learned my lesson, Don’t take a shortcut. If you need bunion and hammer toast toe surgery Do it the old-fashioned way and definitely do not go to Dr. Armstrong!!!!!
I have had a good experience with both Dr. Armstrong and his office personnel at both locations in GWS and Rifle. Dr. Armstrong has been thorogh and of great help in explaining my foot and leg injuries both prior to and after surgery. While I'm still healing, I would say that as a whole, he had excellent bed side manner and his team consistently provided good, quality care. If your on the Western Slope and needing a good surgeon who is honest, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this provider.
I went to a few foot Dr's for the sores on the bottom of my feet and they would say they are just calluses. They would shave the hard skin away and send me on my way. I finally made an appointment with Dr Armstrong and he shaved the hard skin off and then recommended having x-rays to find out what was causing the sores. He showed me the x-rays and said both of your little toes are dislocated. He recommended surgery to straighten them to take the pressure off the bottom of my feet. Okay I just have to complain! Dr. Armstrong took away my beloved high heels shoes with threats that if continued to wear them I would padding his bank account with my next surgery! He did a brilliant job of putting my foot back together and I never had any pain after he rebuilt my foot. His staff is excellent and all are personable. The best part is they all treat you as if you are the only patient! Thank you
