My husband brought home the taco sampler platter and I did not really like it. The shrimp taco was the best because it has bacon with it. I might need to try one of those in a full size and then I can judge again.
love this place ! my fav right now is the corn on the cob... but I believe it's seasonal. The Chicharron taco is to die for! Bartender Val is the best... she makes the best michelada EVER ! SO BASICALLY GREAT FOOD AND GREAT BEER AND GREAT PEOPLE. — with Valerie Rodgers.
Beers were lightly chilled but still warm tasting. Not impressed with the blue corn tortillas, they did not go with the shrimp at all. Would have liked to have the option of regular corn incase of an allergy. I had a shrimp and bacon taco and the cheese completely over powered the flavor of both meats. The chicharrones taco was simply plain carne smothered in salsa Verde which could have been better. The barbacoa was utterly basic. I could get the same flavor and texture at a California burrito. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had....reminds me of those hip and super tasty restaurants in LA but it’s right here in Roseville 🤗 they even have a super tasty vegan menu just for people like me😜
