My experience with Dr. Nitz was excellent. He repaired a torn rotator cuff. Not only is he an A-1 surgeon, but I found him to be a very kind and caring individual. Although it’s been a while since my surgery, If necessary I would certainly see Dr. Nitz again

Worst doctor I have ever seen. I had shoulder surgery and went to PT. I did the stretches and exercises even though they were painful. I went for a follow-up and he tells me there is nothing wrong. He says that I need to do the exercises more, even though PT says don't go over board because it can get much worse. He says I just don't want to get better. He tells me to do exercises that would be impossible He tells me I just don't want to. He says it doesn't matter that I would pass out from pain. I never asked for a pain med... read more

Nitz did knee surgery on me 20 years ago and I’m having pain now and when I went to him to try and get some help for it to get thru the next 20+ years he was very rude and unprofessional with me. He didn’t want to offer any assistantance in helping me to resolve the issue I’m having now. I had to beg him in a sense to further what is causing the pain I’m having. He gave example of when you get a new muffler and it rattles that the muffler is still good

I had a repair on a torn meniscus. Now I have more pain. I had swelling that would not go away. I was told I could do laser treatments at $360. I did the treatments. Swelling was improved some but the pain was worse. I was told it was probably now bone on bone. I could have gel injections that might help, would last 6 to 12 mos. and would cost $575. I went to another Dr and was told at 62 the surgery was not usually successful. Now I have to have another MRI and surgery. NOT HAPPY!

Dr Nitz has performed surgery on members of my immediate family as well as members of siblings family and we have nothing but admiration for Dr Nitz. He is an amazing surgeon as well as an amazing individual.

Exact words after 3 failed surgeries”sometime in life we have to pay for our sins”. I never missed a PT session shoulder dislocated twice in those sessions he says the pain and burn when I move my shoulder isn’t anything he did. However made the price per page to transfer my records significantly more than the average. His practice is a factory for surgery and once he can’t make money he refuses to schedule you

Took my mom to Sycamore Hospital Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Miamisburg, Ohio today to have surgery on her 'RIGHT" knee. Dr Nitz comes out to talk to us, low and behold he operated on the wrong knee, he operated on the left one. Yes, you heard me right, they operated on the wrong knee. So now both knees are messed up

He did such a good job with my surgery. He was patient with me when the surgery didn't help and has been helpful since as I look for alternative treatments.
