Went in for knee shot, advised no copay for visit, told me $40 copay for office visit. Only there for knee injection. Also appeared to be to lazy to use ultra sound to guide knee injection, I asked why not being used he told me if I didn't like it reschedule with his assistant. Was 3rd of 3 injections and going on vacation so let him do it. Wont be going back to that office.
I saw Dr. Nitz for knee pain. After x-rays were taken he manipulated my knee. I was relieved to learn I don't have much arthritis and he prescribed prednisone for my inflammation because I can't take N'saids. He's very good technically, but not as forth coming with information as I personally would like. He's a good surgeon. He did my shoulder some years ago. He could be more personable, but don't let that stop you from seeing him. Ask questions!!!
Listened to me about the issues with my knee and explained to me what was going on with it. Discussed my options. Very professional!
Always professional and discusses situations and remedies in a manner in which you understand. I’ve had two ACL reconstructions by him and he was the first doctor I looked up when I had another injury.
My appointment was very efficient that even included X-rays and his diagnosis is not straight to surgery which impressed me.
Dr. Nitz provided excellent care for my knee problem. He is professional, thorough and answered my questions without hesitation. He provided me with the information I needed to make an informed decision for treatment of my knee problem. I absolutely recommend him without hesitation.
Beware if you are obese. You will get a diagnosis but as far a treatment goes.. you wont get much help. You instead will get a lecture on the drastic life style changes you need to make. What he doesn’t understand is that not all people are obese because they consume way too much. Some of us are obese because of other health issues or medications. I will never be back. He should educate himself before he speaks.
I do a lot of swimming. A little over four years ago, Dr. Nitz operated on my right shoulder. It has been excellent ever since. I’ve been having a few problems with my left shoulder and I’m glad Dr. Nitz is still my doctor. He also has an Incredibly good staff.
Dr.Nitz and his staff were professional, kind and healthful.
