Dr Patel seemed ok during our visit but now I feel either their office staff is incompetent or the billing person is extremely greedy. We were referred by PCM to see eye doctor and paid co-pay at that time only. However after the visit and a year later we received a notice from debt collectors with a notice to put it as a debt on credit reports. would not recommend this doctor to any friends/family to this doctor who have insurance and suggest others to report their experience.
She wrote me out a worthless prescription and I paid after the check up. The follow up ophthalmologist that called her office to correct it, suggested that I file suit. Evidently that is illegal. She sent me an incorrect bill ignoring what I paid her on my VISA card. Instead of correcting it after multiple phone calls and mailing her paper work showing her the mistake, she turned it over to a collection agency. Time to file in court. Please go elsewhere.
Dr. Patel listens and is very thorough. My dry eyes feel so much better since she has been my physician. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Patel is intelligent, knowledgable and professional. She has helped me through some complications with my vision. She is kind and takes time to explain things pertaining to my eyes. It is important to me that that a doctor listens to what I say about my health and Dr. Patel listens. The office staff have been kind and helpful.
She gave my son a very strong prescription. I took him to another doctor because I know that his prescription was wrong and surprise! it was very, very strong more than what he needed. Also the waiting time at the Vienna office was more than an hour.
Wish I could leave a negative 10! I've HAD IT! After 2-3 years of seeing Dr. Patel--despite overbooking, horrendous wait times, lack of adequate seating in the waiting area, and an expensive eye mask that broke and couldn't be returned--this is the FINAL STRAW. My need for a prescription refill is being HELD HOSTAGE by the insistence that I come in for an annual exam when it's still several weeks before the one-year point. My insurance company won't like that any more than I do. BEWARE!
