We were there for the solar eclipse. It was awesome. The event was very well organized, facilities were clean & staff was great. Everyone was engaging & very knowledgeable.
Great place to visit and thank you for the great coordination for the eclipse. We had a great time!
I couldn't express in words what a beautiful park this is and ran by the nicest people.
Had a wonderful time at the viewing party they staged for the total eclipse. Kudos to the staff and volunteers for really putting on a good show. The site itself is nice, and merits a return visit.

A beautiful park that does an excellent job of displaying an important but little known part of our American heritage. Well worth the visit.
Great adventure! Complete details of the awesome American history right in our own neighborhood and county. Amazing video with the history and the prominent men that served our country during the war. Not only was it one war, but a war of many from the indians to the settlers and moving on to the Revolutionary War. This place has a museum of the artifacts used during that time in history. The park is beautifully kept and marked. The signage was new from the last time that I was there - and much better. We figured that it would be closed on Monday, but were very disappointed to arrive on a Tuesday to find the headquarters closed on Tuesdays, as well.
