What a beautiful and well cared for park! A nice walk through history. Watch the film, well done and narrated by Trace Adkins. My thanks to the park team that cares for this park and its visitors.
Have visited this park twice in the past two years and both have been great visits. If you are looking for a short little walk with some history, then you can just stick to the main path. If you are itching for some nature, the trails are a great escape. On the Gouedy Trail, I startled a deer and a baby turtle making it overall a very pleasant experience.
I rate this park at about 96/100. If the VC hadn't been closed the day I was there, it might have got a Ninety Eight.
