Dr Patel did an excellent job! I had cervical spine surgery in the past which resulted in an unavoidable complication (with another physician, not Dr Patel) Dr Patel explained the risks associated with redoing the previous surgery plus two more levels. He did the surgery and even though the risk was high for the same complication as before, I came through with flying colors! Today was my 3 month follow-up appointment after my surgery. Dr. Patel and his staff were excellent with every aspect of my care. My initial appointment with Dr. Patel was via telemedicine (due to COVID protocol). He reviewed my MRI and was very clear with explanation related to my back pain and treatment options. I was referred to Dr. P. Hackett and oh boy .......am I glad I was. When I met him, I was so nervous about having an abnormal Color Guard screening. After meeting with Dr. Hackett I was more relaxed about what an abnormal screening meant. I had an appointment with Dr Patel for a second option. He did a great job of reviewing my X-rays and MRI disks. I felt he listened to my concerns about the procedure. I would definitely recommend Dr Patel to family and friends. I was considerably less anxious and relieved when I left his office. I would go to Dr Patel again as a regular patient if I have any further issues.
Dr.Nimesh Patel did a major back surgery on me in May 2020 and then in August 2020 did a major neck surgery through this pandemic. He is the best neurosurgeon in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. He has great bed side manners and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to any one.
