RecommendedMy deepest and sincerest condolences to Dr. Peter Sakas' family and Niles Animal Hospital. I worked for Dr. Sakas at Niles Animal Hospital when I was in high school and as an adult he saw my pets. Dr. Sakas was an amazing doctor and a kind hearted man. His love for all animals was one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by our family and our fur baby. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
RecommendedIn 1988 I brought my parents dog there as the dog was coughing a blood going into shock from an overdose from another vet at a different location. Dr Sakas saved his life.

RecommendedI've been there numerous times with birds and a couple cats. Had a horrendous time with the receptionists.....at that time they were beyond nasty. I had to have a very beloved cat put down to old age ailments and when I came to pick her frozen body up 2 days later they threw the box she was in at me. When frozen an animal is very heavy and I almost fell to the floor. They all giggled. they did others awfully mean things. ..for what reason I don't know.
