RecommendedRIP Dr. Sakas, a truly great Veterinarian
My deepest and sincerest condolences to Dr. Peter Sakas' family and Niles Animal Hospital. I worked for Dr. Sakas at Niles Animal Hospital when I was in high school and as an adult he saw my pets. Dr. Sakas was an amazing doctor and a kind hearted man. His love for all animals was one of a kind. He will be greatly missed by our family and our fur baby. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
In 1988 I brought my parents dog there as the dog was coughing a blood going into shock from an overdose from another vet at a different location. Dr Sakas saved his life.

Dr Sakas and staff are AMAZING,! There is no one that compares in dedication, care, compassion, and knowledge.
We’ve been to many vets before but none can compare to the compassionate care Dr Sakas and his staff delivers.
I started many years ago when I received my first baby dog KoKoMo as a gift from friends who told us to go to Niles Animal Hospital for the best care ever !! Three more love dogs ❤️🦴followed. Thank you Dr. Sakas and Staff for the outstanding care and concern today and always.
They are amazing! Dr. Sakas is excellent with our bird's, I wouldn't trust anyone else with them. He's an excellent vet. 💯❤
I've been there numerous times with birds and a couple cats. Had a horrendous time with the receptionists.....at that time they were beyond nasty. I had to have a very beloved cat put down to old age ailments and when I came to pick her frozen body up 2 days later they threw the box she was in at me. When frozen an animal is very heavy and I almost fell to the floor. They all giggled. they did others awfully mean things. ..for what reason I don't know.
