When I first started going here.. mind you my very 1st time I had already booked an appointment with another place, I was new to the area and my GPS took me Nikki African braiding shop instead. At first my braids were neat no problems at all!! It’s only 2 ladies there that can braid REALLY GOOD! I can’t remember their names but her daughter is always in the shop with her. I have been going to Nikki hair braiding for more than 6 years and they never disappoint. I have gotten various styles including box braids, boho braids, soft locs, Senegalese twists. The stylists are friendly and welcoming and Nikki always makes sure I am accommodated. I will continue to utilize their services!!

I didn't get what the picture looked like..Bad experience today. While another person had same problem and had to return following day for same problem. Alot of complaints while I was there, I'm afraid this establishment is going to lose a lot of customers.

I had appointment on 8/11/25 fort knotless BoHo braids mixed with 617 hair. Had to go back on 8/15 /25to have the Braids redone because the Braids were unraveling .They supplied the hair was already looking old and dry . Had an appointment for 2 o’clock on 8/15/35 had to reschedule that appointment because she didn’t have enough staff for that day.
