Dr. Patel was sent to me by God; I couldn't be more Blessed to have such a Wonderful Dr. From the first day I met him; He was So Personable and calmed my nerves. Like one of the other reviewers said he rolled his stool right up to me and my daughter and talked face to face with us and asked what was going on; although he already read my diagnosis/tests he wanted to know how I felt and my concerns. Dr. Patel is always kind and caring. He is easy to talk to and listens to you. I have never felt rushed. I feel he is very competent! Could not rate ease of scheduling urgent appointments, never had to.
Dr. Patel is one of the only doctors I've been to that keeps his scheduled appointment times. And has a wonderful bedside manner.
I came to Dr. Patel for a second opinion. The first oncologist I saw wanted to take a "wait and see" approach to my metastatic renal cell carcinoma. I was so scared! Dr. Patel didn't carry a computer, he didn't carry a cell phone; he rolled his stool right up next to me and asked me to tell him what was happening with me. He was and continues to be amazing! From my first visit on,Dr. Patel treated me like a good friend! Always had time to talk about my condition and never felt rushed! The Willis Knighton cancer center in whole is a awesome place with great and caring staff. I don't feel that I could have had a better experience anywhere else.
My family and I are very blessed to have Dr. Patel as my oncologist. Dr. Patel's experience and knowledge has given me the confidence to fight this disease head on. He is very attentive to our concerns. Often people do not know how to react to this type of diagnosis. This can and does create questions regarding treatment. This was a routing follow up visit following a partial colectomy in 2016.
I have been very pleased with the levelof care I have received from Dr. Patel. He takes time to listen to my concerns and explains all aspects of my treatment. He has answered of all my questions thoroughly and honestly. His staff is kind and efficient. This is the type of care you want and need when you are dealing with illness. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. You will not be disappointed.
All visits with Dr. Patel are pleasant and informed ones. His expertise is exceptional. His "bed side manner" unmatched. He is an actual Godsend to me. God bless thy Physician!
