Cancer treatment is the scariest thing I've faced. There were times I believed the challenges were greater than I could stand. Dr. Patel engaged in my treatment as invested as my family. He took time to meet and talk with my family members and encouraged my connections with my support systems. He also gave me the hard facts when I needed them. I'm glad I've gone through this journey with him as the copilot.

I had a life threatening saddle pulmonary embolism. While I had excellent care in the hospital I felt uncomfortably uneasy about my future. When I came under Dr. Patel's care, his manner, intelligence and gift for helping me understand things calmed my unease and fears. I am grateful to him and grateful for him.
