I'm not sure if the staff have changed, but I've had a lovely experience both times I've had appointments here. Dr. Nigra is delightful, knowledgeable, and patient. He took careful attention and care and I'll definitely be coming back. The receptionists were perfectly fine and I had no issue at all.
The receptionist is one million percent rude. Unprofessional is an understatement. I would not recommend this office. Definitely not handicap friendly. My overall experience with this office was not friendly at all.
The office is old and hard to get to, and the staff is…not great. But Dr. Nigra is so good that I’m willing to overlook those things and go back every few months. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend time explaining things and answering questions. He’s clearly a more old-fashioned doctor (he still uses a prescription pad!) but his care is modern and top-notch. I recommend booking through Zocdoc for your first appointment, then booking any follow-ups before you leave (they use a physical datebook 😅).
I have never felt more terrible after being treated so poorly by a receptionist. I had an appointment scheduled through Zocdoc, but when I arrived, I was informed that the doctor was booked and unavailable. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional about it, literally closing the door and windows in my face. She curtly told me that the doctor couldn’t see me. Such a great and knowledgeable doctor. The office is always super clean and everyone is so friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dermatologist and skin screening.
