Lovely place. We like our stay at this place. We went to Tobermory and the rooms of closer hotels got sold out. This inn is great. The layout is great and beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. It’s also smoke free. Tim Hortons is at next door with less than 1 min walking. Would come back if passing by.
Great two-night stay in a simple but clean and very comfortable room. Just a minute's drive from downtown, and right across the road from a fantastic Indian restaurant. Guy at the front desk during check-in was warm and helpful. This'll be where I stay in Owen Sound from now on.
Very clean room! Had a King room which was quite spacious. The bed was firm but very comfortable. Everything worked: microwave, coffee maker, fridge. Typical of a motel some noise carries between rooms but thankfully the neighbours weren't too loud. The only drawback was the room was 14C upon arrival and took more than hour for the baseboard heaters to warm the room to 22C (outside temperature was about -10C upon arrival). My Dad had a flood in his building and stayed at the Nights Inn Owen Sound for around 10 weeks while his home was repaired. The Morais family and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful, and took great care of Dad and his needs during his long stay. Dad says he made new friends and always felt welcomed, and I am grateful for the experience he received during his stay, especially under the circumstances that brought him there.
This place is a definite 5star from me. As someone who hosted on Airbnb for quite a few years I can tell when someone actually cares about guest experience. The family which runs this is very kind and they literally know EVERYTHING about the area. Like seriously. The room is super clean, the water very hot, linens smelled great, and the complex very quiet and I found the location perfect.
