I lived in Golden Hill back in 2000, and still think about Niederfrank’s to this day! Their ice cream helped this SF native not miss home so much because this place is like SD’s Mitchell’s, and all you SF kids know that no one — absolutely NO ONE — who grew up eating Mitchell’s ice cream would EVER say anything like that if it weren’t true.
