She is and amazing doctor.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about my Dr. Ballou, and now, Dr. Chavez! From the very first visit, I felt like I was truly being listened to — not rushed, not brushed off. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers all of my (many) questions with patience, and genuinely seems to care about my well-being. Dr Ballou has routinely made us wait an hour or more to be seen after our appointment time. I find this unprofessional, unacceptable and inconsiderate of my time.
Dr. Ballou has been our family's pediatrician for over 18 years now. Her care, kindness, and professionalism are a true testament to her character. But it is her intuition and experience that is God's gift to the medical community. She was able to diagnose my youngest daughter's rare illness, after we were given an incorrect diagnosis at the emergency room. She opened up her office to us in a time of uncertainty.
