RecommendedI chose to eat at Nick's because that's my son's name and he is a chef. I must say my friend and I were quite pleased with the food and Devin's (I hope I remember his name right, he has worked for Nick's about 2 weeks) amazing service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were on point. I had the Teriyaki rib tips and she had the salmon. When she cleaned her plate, I knew the food was good. I will eat surely here on my next visit to D.C.

GOOD SERVICE!
Had brunch with friends here yesterday with our kids. They served brunch with *tea, coffee or juice with the menu. The waiter came out and said they only had decaf. Really?!? Brunch menu item to include AM beverage but you only had decaf. Needless to say we’re never going back. Just because you have a great location on the water doesn’t mean you can abuse the patrons and not fully respect that you’re in the service and you need to serve your patrons properly, when they pay for it. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Wait staff was not personal or nice. MIA most of the time. The food was hot but of significant less quality than Tony and Joe's right across the walkway. The same rum punch that is served for the same price across the walkway came in a high ball glass. Overall, the entire staff was disconnected from good, quality customer service and need to be retrained. Very dissatisfied.
Found out this place is owned by the same management as Tony and Joes next door I anticipated once aging poor service. We were pleasantly surprised as Rajesh Kumar, our waiter, was outstanding and we were very satisfied with the services and the food. I had shrimp cocktail which was so tasty, my wife had Atlantic salmon and I completed my meal with a wedge salad that was chilled just right. My hats off to the chef and mostly Rajesh, You made my trip worth it.

The mussels were amazing. Can't find this in austin.
