I'm so sad to hear y'all are closing I use to live off of 39th st amd 7th ave from thr year I was born 1982 to 2001 I use to ride my bike to nicks all the time as a kid and have fond memories of Eating hot boudain and bread and hot Cheetos with a cold coke y'all will be missed and always be part of my memories as a kid growing up end of era but never forgotten

Nick's Grocery was my very first job. Red would make the boudain fresh every morning. Back then he stuffed it in pig casing, original boudain. There will never be another Nick's Grocery. Port Arthur is losing a landmark.
