Ok, you guys don't know me but I'm a big yelper and I never ever give 5 stars. We stopped on the way to the Sag awards, (Yes we are in the business). The great breakfast was expected,, and it was great, but the superb service was a credit to the management of the Nickel. Kind, considerate (we were in a rush) and efficient. Well done The Nickel Diner!

This is my go to place in DTLA....I love to introduce friends who have never been there to the best! Consistently great food. I had the Wednesday night fried chicken special, and was in heaven. I also LOVE the BLT. Basically, everything on the menu does not disappoint. Great service, and the owners really care! I'd eat here every day if I lived closer. Oops, forgot, very affordable and lovely retro setting.

Went here for the first time the other day Great place food was awesome... customer service at its finest plus the prices are really affordable... Great restaurant by far one of the best in the downtown LA area, i will definitely be coming back over and over again ��������
This is my go to restaurant in LA.. I bring friends visiting, I go with friends, I go alone, I go where they know my name, and I LOVE the food! From the mint lemonade to the main dishes to the amazing desserts, it's all made with pride by the owner .. who actually stops by the table and asks what you think!! No item I've ever seen there is perfunctory; they are all sumptuous and carefully prepared. I keep going back for more.
