Dr. Nickel is very professional and personable in every appointment I've had with him. He and his staff communicate effectively together, which alleviates the possible frustration and confusion you can have as a patient at any doctor office. The nurses at Tacoma General were fantastic as well, and they worked cohesively with Dr. Nickel. Labor and delivery can be stressful and scary, but I was quickly put at ease by the L&D nurses at TG and Dr. Nickel.
No one WANTS a csection. But if you had to have one, you're in perfect hands. He's right across the hospital so he can pop in and out (read: he's always there for appointment and deliveries, and you don't feel pressured to deliver on the watch) He's friendly, funny, and nice to the husbands too.
I love Dr. Nickel! He was recommended by my family doctor and I couldn't of made a better choice. He was amazing throughout my whole pregnancy. I almost wish I was still pregnant so I can just visit them haha. He does his very best to make sure he is always available to you. The staff is also very caring and friendly. They do a great job of making you feel welcomed and safe while there. I went through some scary things while pregnant and Dr. Nickel was always there giving me the best care.
