I have zero tolerance for dismissive doctors.
Every time I am at Dr. Nickel's office I wait about 30 minutes to see him and then he spends about 5 minutes with me. He talks the whole time and it feels like purposely doesn't allow much time for me to state concerns or ask questions. He has been dismissive of my concerns on multiple occasions. The last time I was being seen was after a miscarriage and his nurse was not aware of this when asking me questions and when I told her she nervously LAUGHED. I’m not sure how this guy has so many positive reviews. I went in to see him for abnormal bleeding. He barely let me get a word in, talked over me every time I tried to speak. I couldn’t even explain what was going on, dates of which it was occurring or anything. He was really dismissive and didn’t care at all. Some of the worst bedside manor I’ve ever had in the medical world. He kept pushing things on me I did not want at all. Doctors are there to work for you and respect your wishes and he did not. I transferred care at about the 30 week mark in my pregnancy and Dr. Nickle and his entire staff did a great job treating me like they had been involved my entire pregnancy. Dr. Nickle is open to discussing concerns and answers questions. I had a c-section and I felt 100% at ease during the procedure. His staff is the only friendly and caring staff I have even encountered in OBGYN care. Even the lady in the Lab is nice. Great experience all around.
I would highly recommend working with Dr. Nickel and his staff! I chose to wait to leave this review until 6 weeks postpartum and continue to be impressed with the helpfulness of Dr. Nickel and his office staff. At our first pregnancy appointment Dr.. My grandmother worked with Dr Gary Nickel who is Adams father, so when I got pregnant 13 years ago she recommended Dr Gary Nickel. Adam took over a few years later and I couldn't have been more thrilled. He delivered my daughter a year ago via C-Section and will deliver my third child in February. I'm so pleased with this family they are extremely professional and personable. I've recommended him to family as well as friends!
Seven months ago I gave birth with a beautiful and healthy baby girl named Clementine with the help of Dr. Adam. He and his staff have been very helpful to me from pregnancy until the day I gave birth. If ever I will get pregnant again and again I would keep going back to him. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family or to anyone who seeks for an OB. Thank you so much Dr. Adam Nickel! You are the best.
Dr. Nickel and his staff were truly amazing. I had some rough patches throughout my pregnancy and ended up being induced at 39 weeks. He made me feel so safe and got us through the long process of induction. The care afterwards has been wonderful. I'd recommend him for OB of Gyno.
DR. Adam Nickel is hands down one of the best Doctors ive ever had the pleasure handling my care. He has delivered 2 of my beautiful children and lead me through healthy pregnancies despite many health issues.He has a very kind gentle demeanor about him but also is very to the point and informative.He is very professional but easy to talk to, extremely charming , and funny. I felt comfort knowing it was him there during my deliveries and after care.
