went for bfast and they refused to give a group of 5 extra large people a table they wanted us to sit in a booth and add a chair in the walk way btw empty tables everywhere

Randy, I was disappointed to hear you say that we “refused” to seat you. We did explain that all other tables were reserved for reservations at that time and that our only option was a booth. If we did not make that clear then I offer my deepest apologies. I happened to be here today and the host staff let me know of the situation immediately. Wonderful news!! Nick and Jake's heard my dissatisfaction on 7/26/18 and made me an offer to come back. I returned on 8/4/18. Service seated in a booth in the bar area was great and Tiffany, our server was attentive. Best of all the Filet Oscar with Lump Meat Crab Bearnaise sauce was divine! I once again am a big fan of Nick and Jake's. To have ownership taken for food faux pas is what the world needs more of, accountability.
We go to Nick and Jake’s quite often and we usually have wonderful food and good service. However, when we went out last night we were very disappointed with three out of four of our meals. The porkchops were extremely tough and difficult to cut. The crabcakes were terrible and the quesadillas were soggy. The service was good, as usual. Very disappointed
