Expensive but you get what you pay for I find the service expensive (duh, it's a dealer) so I wouldn't say, get my oil changed or some other minor maintenance done here but for larger jobs I trust them. They have great customer service, give accurate estimates and even have a shuttle to get you to work (although shared and requires some waiting).
they cheat you Just like you'd expect from used-car sales people, this place greatly marks up their cars. They try to mark it up a lot and then cut prices by a lot to make you think they are saving you a lot of money. if you go here, keep your number low. they don't deserve your business if they are using such stupid tactics.
shady service deparment Beware! NICK ALEXANDER SERVICE DEPT. CLEARLY NEEDS SOME CERTIFICATION ASSESSMENT/REVIEW OF SOME SORT BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SEEN A SERVICE DEPARTMENT SO INADEQUATE IN SO MANY WAYS, FROM ITS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUESTIONABLE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES. horrible shopping and service experience As some of the reviews have mentioned, Alexander does have a decent selection of MINIs (but so do other MINI dealerships). I will also testify to other reviews about the horrible shopping and service experience. I bought a new MINI and their sales practice was very shady. Their finance department was even shadier. Worst experience ever... We didn't buy our Mini from them, but we did bring it there to get serviced which began one of the more stressful experiences in my life. Simply stated, their service deparment is incompetent, from the management down to their techs. At every step, we felt like they were actively working against us to have our car repaired under warranty. They even suggested we lie to our insurance company to get them to cover the repair! Exceptional Staff I recently went car shopping. My goal was to find a used car that was within two years old that met all the criteria that was important to me.
