Akron Children’s and Dr. Nguyen did not take concerns regarding my daughters severe skin conditions seriously. Was told she just had eczema and that we basically had to live with it. Offered steroid after steroid and was told there were no food allergies, even after pressing and asking. Turns out my baby was suffering the whole time due to food allergies and ACH neglected to test her. How this dermatologist could not tell the different is beyond me but we thankfully found a new doctor who immediately did the proper testing

Dr. Nguyen is incredible and I’m so thankful we found him to help treat my daughter’s alopecia. I took about rice months for our new patient appointment, but now that we are established with him, I can say it was definitely worth the wait. He and his staff are wonderful at communicating via MyChart and show true care and concern for my daughter. At appointments, he really takes his time and makes sure to explain everything as thoroughly as possible.
