I drove 2 hours to be seen by Dr Cheney with a complex ankle break with tendon injuries. While I hope OrthoNeuro gives their staff a scribe so he can’t focus on the patient the way he wishes he could, he still made a great effort to listen, acknowledge, and make eye contact. I have had three surgeries performed by Dr Cheney and am very pleased with the results. My injuries occured in the mid 1970s and since that time I have been trying to find a doctor who could help me. Since the first appointment Dr Cheney has provided incredible understanding and knowledge on how to correct my problems. I thoroughly trust him and respect his training and surgical procedures. He is constantly listening and thinking. I have been amazed at the solutions he provides. I am extremely pleased with the results.

I was referred to Dr. Cheney by my primary care doctor and I have since told them to not refer patients to Dr. Cheney. Dr. Cheney was arrogant and quick to talk about surgery. He had my walk back and forth and he kept saying, 'It is like I know what I am doing, like I have done this before.' All I could think about was I sure hope you have since you are a specialized doctor in this area. Dr Cheney saw me for 1 year post op follow up. The original surgeon moved away and I was scheduled with Dr Cheney. He was SO thorough and I appreciated his follow up care.

Had extensive ankle surgery by Dr. Cheney that went great! Unfortunately post op visit was done by PA and not doc. He was through and explained next steps. However since their office does not provide visit paperwork my OT and PT home health workers needed to verify info I gave them at their visits. PA was short with both of them and related he had already given me and my husband all the same information at my visit. Made me sad to think such a caring person would act like that. Still love Dr. Cheney though.
