Had a wonderful initial visit with Dr. C. He shared his thoughts as to what's going on and followed up but demonstrating it surgically.
Don't recommend. Can not diagnose. No satisfactory answers.
Had hemi implant a number of years ago for osteoarthritis in great toe. After surgery, I remarked that the toe was shorter than it was before and was crooked and cocked upward. Dr C said it was just swollen and to give it time. Well lots of time has passed and I've had pain nearly every day since surgery, it feels like I'm walking on a rock, the toe is 1/2"- 3/4" shorter than the one on the other foot and I can't put that toe flat on the floor. Interesting as I pulled the surgical list of this procedure performed in my office and do not have this first name and last initial on the list. While I am not a proponent of performing implants for great toe osteoarthritis, I do have a long discussion with the patient prior in the office indicating the risks with this procedure. It does very well in some patietns, and not so well in others with complaints as this patient described. Many patients request this procedure as it retains mobility.
Dr. Campitelli removed my ingrown toenail! The staff was great and the procedure was really no big deal. Dr. Campitelli made me laugh during the procedure!! Was actually fun!

Was very pleased with my bunion surgery. Dr. Campitelli was very patient with me and took his time to explain everything that was going to happen during surgery and exactly how he was going to fix my foot. Highly recommend!!
My daughter went to dr Campitelli for plantar warts on her foot and we were very pleased with the doctor as well as the staff. Would highly recommend.
