Dr. Nguyen has been my father's heart doctor for many years. Office staff are always friendly and courteous. Appointments run pretty much on-time, with a bit of waiting in the back room but not much. Dr Nguyen is very professional, and listened to my father's concerns and EDUCATED us, in layman's terms, what was happening, and what to look for should things change that need a new appointment. ... His office in Bastrop is amazing. Staff are highly professional, efficient and friendly. I rarely wait longer than 5 minutes to be called for my scheduled appointment.

Dr. Nguyen is very personable and supportive. He always urges me to stay active and to keep an exercise routine. He is very easy to talk to, and most importantly, he listens. I would not hesitate at all to recommend him to anyone.
I am a new patient, and was very pleased with my visit. My husband will also be joining Dr. Nguyen as a new patient since Dr. Tracy is retiring. We are both very confident in him.

Dr Nguyen is very complete in his examinations and he has great "bedside manner". His staff is very friendly. My wait for appointments has been reasonable both for planning and in the office. He has a good followup system to remind you of appointments made 6 month earlier.
Because heart issues are my greatest health risk, I have been extremely careful in selecting a cardiologist. I obtained three lists each including the names of three cardiologists. One of the lists came from a charge nurse in a cardiology ward. Dr. Vinh Nguyen appeared on all of these lists. Justifiably.
