I have been waiting since January 31st for the loan officer I was dealing with, Mitch R*****, to get back to me. I have sent e-mails left a message on his cell phone to no avail. So we initiated the process in early January, and here we are, not a word from him or anyone else. I sent all the documents he requested, and now I have no idea where that paperwork is. Pretty much all my personal and financial information. So now I have to start again with another lending institution--a whole month wasted.
Horrible communication! Getting the loan officer on the phone was extremely difficult. Took 3 1/2 months to close due to errors from people they used for appraisal. Communication is the worst!

My experience with Main Street Home Loans in Ashburn, Virginia was absolutely horrendous. I was working with Derek E**** and his team (Kyla P*****, Evita S****, and so on.) I was pre-approved for the loan (with my mother co-signing for me) pretty quickly. That was good but the process quickly became a nightmare. We were asked for a list of documents needed for the loan after we got a house and then various other documents here and there down the line. That was fine.
