As part of refinancing my loan through NFM, I have to pay monthly into an escrow account that is set up to pay my flood insurance. NFM is supposed to pay the flood policy from my escrow.. In the past, I've paid my entire flood insurance policy in one lump when it is due on 7/6 every year. Today, 7/12, I got a call from my insurance agent telling me my flood policy has lapsed for non payment. I spent more than 30 minutes in NFM's call system until I got a woman in insurance who said the flood insurance check was cut on 7/2. S... read more
