Not worth it. Billing has been a nightmare. I have BCBS and Tricare, and after over a year, 8+ calls, and 20+ minute hold times every time before even getting to speak to a rep, they still haven’t billed both insurances correctly. I was recently told the balance would be cleared, got a $0 bill, then was billed again an incorrect amount the next month for the same visit that was over a year ago. Be ready to spend hours trying to fix their mistakes.
The staff misleads patients regarding wait times. One hour is really three hours. I politely told the man at the Rio Rancho Blvd location that I felt a bit mis-lead on the wait time and was getting somewhat inpatient after almost three hours waiting. He rudely told me I was welcome to leave and then out of anger for calling him out, he slammed the door to my room so hard that it shook the walls. Provider Anthony Marchelli is amazing! I dislike going to any healthcare facility and was completely surprised and relieved to have an excellent experience with Tony, Natasha and Next Care. The 'doctors' here were more concerned with forcing me to wear a mask than they were with treating my health concerns. Would rate soooo negative if available. Showing NO SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS (because I'd sufficiently dosed myself with OTC meds), AND ~before~ I provided my name, or told them literally anything, they insisted I wear a mask. Today I was seen the NextCare Urgent Care by Kohl's and Cross Creek Mall. What a viable alternative to a visit to the ER. Although I had no appointment, the fact that I could complete a previsit form on line shortened the registration process. Although the computer system was down most of the day, the ladies at the front desk handled the frustrating situation pleasantly well. I was very uncomfortable with how many times the PA at the Texas location quoted the "W.H.O." - my question is why do I care as an American citizen what the global organization WHO says about my healthcare needs! It was so disturbing and I will never go back!
