Great food and staff. Can't get enough of the awesome hamburger steak, but everything is good. (Dang, now I'm hungry!)
Worked there was years,under Richard Belvin,Mrs Louise Belvin (his mother).Started at age 17 stopped at age 33.Made a many double good,pies from scratch,seafood gumbo,shrimp augratin,flounder,etc. Now I'm a nurse but I learned so much about character at New's Restaurant.
Great food and great atmosphere. The service was wonderful and the staff is very friendly. Great live music!!!
