Newport Bay Club & Hotel is a great weekend Although condo with private owners, we have ahd the experience of staying as a hotel off season in beautiful rooms with ocean breathtaking views and walking distance to everything.
RecommendedI’ve stayed here several times. You can’t beat the location! The hotel was very clean especially with covid-19 and was wearing masks.
We had a WONDERFUL time at the Newport Bay club and Hotel last night. The good folks there honored a gift certificate that was expired, due to COVID. We were a little late to check out as well, and the staff was still very accommodating. It’s a beautiful hotel, and a bit more quaint than some of the new ones that have sprouted up around it. We love the location of this hotel, and it’s location and comfortable rooms is pretty much why we have put up with the repeatedly nasty, condescending, unhelpful, and downright rude attitude and manner of two women at the front desk named Chrisann and Paula. Year after year (we are here for at least a week every year) both have been nothing but an absolute detriment to an otherwise decent and respectable establishment’s reputation. My family has owned a timeshare with The Bay Club for many years. I have been coming since I was child and don’t remember ever being disappointed. Unfortunately, as I checked in this past Friday July 24th I was told by the front desk that the room we own (room 401) for the same week yearly was “being worked on”. Out of curiosity I asked what was being done and I was informed “it’s just getting work done” and we will be moved to another room (411) on the same floor. amazing staff and nicely ran. You don't have to worry about covid 19 here and people sitting next to you. everyone is spread out nicely and the sun is beaming.
I want to send a shout out to Michael who answered the phone tonight and was so kind and helpful with regards to our reservation. Excellent customer service!! We look forward to rescheduling soon!
We have been going to the Newport Bay club for 35 years. We go three or four times a year and still love it. It’s within walking distance to everything!
Great place. WiFi did not work with iPhones according to front desk. Hmmm.
