Recommendedamazing faculty staff nurses. everyone from security to dr to nurses... truly amazing..
This is my second post about a different stay. Both do not recommend this hospital. The billing department is atrocious. There is NO transparency and they take advantage of patients while they are still in the hospital demanding payment ahead of time.

RecommendedI worked here as a nurse for 23 years- mostly in Family Centered Care-my three sons were born here, and I have returned for professional development programs. I still have friends in various departments. I would choose SBMC if I needed to return as a patient.

I am in recovery but need to be on medicated maintenance. I was supposed to be spend another month in that hospital on antibiotics and instead of giving medicine to help me get more comfortable, they told me that they couldn't do anything else for me and let me AMA. I could have died by leaving there and they rather see me leave and die from my infection than give me medicine that helps. lawsuit in process.
RecommendedMy son was born in St. Barnabas and was unfortunately hospitalized a few months later with pertussis. Both times the staff at the hospital were INCREDIBLE. Everyone from the nurses, to the support staff, to the doctors in the ER were amazing. My wife and I were new incredibly nervous parents and they provided us with so much support and knowledge. Moreover the staff at St. Barnabas treated my son with unparalleled care. I cannot recommend this hospital more.
RecommendedBonnie in the Mammography Center and all the other nurses and staff today were amazing. Thank you so much. First time I didn't cry from mammo squeeze pain.
