Beth is to understaff, and some of the workers at like they don't like their job, just there for a paycheck.
I got seen quick but they ain't do nothing but prescribe pain killers. The follow up they gave me is out of business and its suppose to be across the street. How they going to do that?The nurse was nice to me but I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go there after yesterday.
I went on a job interview for the NICU and was told by the woman from HR who escorted me to the unit to leave my belongings in a bag on the table before touring the unit. After getting back from the tour which was approximately 10 minutes I returned to find my iPhone was stolen out of my bag. Security was contacted and a report was filed but I was never compensated for the theft of my phone. In speaking with other staff and security cell phones get taken all the time. Hospital is a mess. Some of the staff are rude and you can tell they don't want to be at work. Sometimes the wait is longer than the hospitals in the Bronx (7-10hours). I had insurance (full coverage for hospitals visits) yet they keep sending me the bill. I called the them to fix it several times but it's been a year and they haven't. Their administration is a damn mess. On top of that, there's street parking as if Beth Israel isn't located in one of the worst neighborhoods in Newark. GO TO SAINT MICHAELS.
I always rave about this hospital!!! All my physicians are affiliated with this hospital so I always get the best care. The renal transplant department is the best!!!! Especially love the new Breast health department on L3, great staff, excellent service ... I was in and out ���
Will always take my kids here for emergency care. The adult section could use a little more care. But would recommend Beth Isreal over any other hospitals in Newark.
I love all of the nurses and mid wifeare very nice they made us feel so comfortable my wife love all of them
