I belong to the West Nyack location. The only reason it gets a one is that it is the lowest available. Although the staff is nice; but the air conditioner is often broken, the equipment is frayed and old, the lockers are chipped and the doors are often falling off, the water fountains are broken often, and to top it off unlike other locations there is no towel service or internet. Do not join here.
Today is July 14 and it's an update to below: Regional Manager Dan has been in contact with me about the condition of the gym. The employees also need some good morale because they are the ones taking the brunt of the condition. He claims to turn it around by end of August. Let's see. Stay tuned but he seems genuinely invested in the success. Members aren't happy. Use your voice members!!! Due to the power outage in Baldwin place from the nor'easter and stuck in rockland I called & ask about going there even thou I only have the regular one location only account . the two days I called the two men let me go in as a guest , I called today & was on hold for a while then got disconnect & called back & the lady said she will have her manager call me back regarding 3 hours ago ... ? Have been a member here since it opened. Convenient locating and friendly staff. The gym is getting a little long in the tooth and needs a refresh. Locker rooms are generally clean but need a little more staffing on the weekends to keep supplies full. The locker rooms also need a make over, with towel service like the Garnerville location.
Just rejoined but you guys seriously Need to upgrade your equipment! Place looks old. Other than that ... machines are always available and clean at least.
I went in to cancel my membership after seeing the terrible facilities and poor / borderline dangerous training styles of their group instructors 3 months ago and recently noticed that no cancelation was put into effect. I've been advised that I now need an additional 45 days additional on top to cancel. Severely disappointed and slightly infuriated.
